  MONTHLY LEAGUE FORMAT
The league operates from September 2002 to March 2003 (7 months).
The teams will play in a round robin format
Each team is guaranteed at least 2 games a month
There will be a monthly winner each month.
There will be an overall 7 - month league winner.
MONTHLY WINNERS
The teams gaining the most points in that month become that month's champion.
This might seem unfair as one team may play three matches and another only 2 matches, however over the 7 months this will even it's self-out.
This system therefore gives each team a chance of winning a month and prevents one team dominating.
If teams are level on points both teams will be crowned as champions.
OVERALL LEAGUE
By the end of the 7 months each team will have played the same amount of matches if they attend most months.
Each month's results/points will be cumulated to give an overall champion.
If teams are level on points then they will be separated by the results between the two teams. If that score were a draw both teams would be crowned as champions.
YOUTH GAMES
Champions of the Monthly League will represent Tameside in the Greater Manchester Youth Games
COMMITMENT
I appreciate that some months you might not be able to attend, if this is the case I only ask for you to ring me to let me know. Then I can change the fixtures in advance.
FEEDBACK
This league has been established to develop the game of girls football and without the important role of the teachers this can not happen so I would appreciate it if there is anything you disagree with or would like changing then please contact me so I can take these ideas on board.
